Completely Eradicate Useless Cravings With Green Smoothies

I really don’t think that it’s far off to suggest that consuming a variety of green smoothies can deliver practically every thing that your human body demands to maintain health. Besides perhaps Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D, in my opinion, these smoothies supply everything (yes, even protein). The worst part for me when I started drinking the smoothies were the unhealthy cravings. See how I got past themfor good.
I would like to start off by stating that the contents of this article merely my opinion based on information I have read regarding health and from more than a decade of eating and living the way I have on a daily basis. Also, with my twice a year blood work which indicates no deficiencies, I believe that this information is valid and very valuable. Possible it works just for me, my body type and genetics, I can’t say for certain. However, just like smoking cigarettes will probably affect each of us with various degrees of health negatives, eating green smoothies, I feel, will probably affect each of us with various degrees of health positives. Try it and see, after talking about it with a naturopath or other doctor initially of course.
The body is designed to heal itself right? Why is it that so many people are becoming and staying sick? Maybe that is incorrect and the human body really isn’t equipped for natural healing? No! The problem is that people a) don’t give it with the appropriate amount of raw materials, usually by way of diet, it needs to reset itself and b) we bombard our body with stuff that hinders the operation of the limited number of essential resources that we do give it.
I’m a huge admirer of the raw food diet. To suggest that adding heat to food above a specific temperature destroying much needed enzymes that are significant to digestion makes sense to me. Beyond that, it is implied that to get the most out of our food we should be chewing it it until it’s completely liquefied. We have troubles handling big pieces of food. Also, I really feel that human beings can thrive with a a diet of primarily fruits and dark green leafy vegetables, with the occasional healthy fats. Healthy fats in the form of avocados, soaked nuts and seeds is all I consume.
The main foods I have each an every day are comprised of lots of raw fruits and green veggies in the form of green smoothies. Being mostly liquid, my body has no issues assimilating the nutrients.
A giant hurdle for some people when changing the way they eat, and a huge one for myself is coping with cravings for bad foods. Just like someone that is addicted to drugs or alcohol must go through a detox to heal, we pretty much must to do a similar thing. Our cells consist of stuff from foods that we have consumed in the past. The body generally craves more of the same unhealthy foods that contribute to the makings of each one of the sick cells in our bodies. For drug detoxes, often, dry sauna therapy is used to sweat out the drugs. That generally helps eliminate the physical cravings for the drug which could allow the person an improved chance at sobriety. For us, adjusting our eating habits may very well trigger the elimination of toxic foods as well which can be naturally removed in stool, through sweat and perhaps urine. However, we still might having cravings for those foods while some of the toxins in our cells are still there.
I, myself, have found that immediately after having the first swallow of my green smoothie my own cravings for grease, meat, salt, etc started to dwindle. After I was finished drinking the smoothie, the unhealthy cravings disappeared completely and I would be content. The problem then was that the unhealthy cravings would come back as I grew hungry. So I started to make certain I was on top of it and would have another green smoothie prepared before the cravings would reoccur, or not too long after they began. The unhealthy cravings at last subsided for good as I became cleaner. And then I started to crave greens instead!
